Zell Dincht
Zell Dincht is one of the 10 playable characters in Square's eighth Final Fantasy game. He has short, gravity-defying blonde hair, and is about the opposite of the main character, Squall's personality. He is very hot headed and hyperactive, often showing off his fighting skills to other members of the party. His introduction to the game is very striking -- he is seen boxing with the air of Balamb Garden.
Zell lived in the same orphanage as the others in the game, which is where Seifer began to bully him, continuing to call him names like "Chicken-Wuss" even into his 'adult' years. After being bullied by Seifer, he was adopted by the Dincht family who live in the town of Balamb. His number one dream is to live up to the legend of his Grandfather.
His choice of weapon is, simply, gloves. They are useful for causing heavy damage onto foes, and are the only weapon that he ever uses. The weapons that are available for him are:
- Metal Knuckle;
- Maverick;
- Gauntlet;
- Ehrgeiz.
Like Irvine, Zell lacks in magical abilities. His renowned strength and potent Limit Break, Duel, makes up for this. When low on health, the player will be prompted to allow Zell to use his Duel ability, in which the player must input a button combination for him to perform a move. The moves available for him are Punch Rush, Booya, Heel Drop, Mach Kick, Dolphin Blow, Meteor Strike, Burning Rave, Meteor Barret, Different Beat and Final Heaven.
